I’ve always felt a pull toward yoga. Over the years I’d show up to classes irregularly — like that friend who disappears for a while but always comes back because they can’t resist. There was just something about yoga that kept calling me.
When my kids became adults and started their own families, the nurturer in me started looking for a new outlet (old habits die hard). That’s when I decided to take the plunge and complete my 200-hour teacher training — hoping first to nurture myself (because let’s face it, we all need it), and then to share that with others.
As I continue to grow as a teacher, I’m excited to find ways to give back — especially by bringing yoga to folks who might not otherwise have the chance to try it. I’m so happy to be teaching at Sukha, and I look forward to all the fulfillment, fun, and occasional wobbles on the mat that yoga brings!
